Philosophy

We offer workshops in a variety of areas that relate to and support our consulting practice. These workshops are meant to inform and educate those organizations that feel that:

1. They can benefit from some training which will help improve the performance of the organization
2. They are capable of engaging in certain organizational development activities but only need some direction and tools to make it happen.

Our workshops can be one to three hours in duration and/or up to a week in duration. And, while these workshops can be conducted as stand alone workshops, we do encourage nonprofit organizations to consider putting legs to these workshops. By this we mean the organization should have a committee or group prepare the board or staff in the chosen area and then follow-up on the content of the workshop to ensure that the workshop content is not forgotten in the next two weeks after the workshop. We can assist the organization with this or the organization can conduct this portion of the work on its own.

We encourage organizations to learn to conduct their own internal self-development, but they do not always understand the mechanics or the models of conducting their own workshops. We can help you begin the process and even help assess your training and development efforts as you move forward.

As trained facilitators and mediators, we feel very strongly about providing value to the nonprofit organization that last beyond just the duration of the actual workshop itself.

Fees for these workshops are based upon the amount of firm involvement and the extent of the content.
